hello.
i apologize for not blogging for some time. i have been busy with the new EDGE website that will be launching on the 14th, our Big Launch. nicholas and i are slaving our butts off this one. really praying it all will turn out well..

for the past week, God has been really kind to me! hahaha wait! i hope all of you won't think that since i enrolled into atcem my blog posts are all going to be about testimonies. but these things are just so exciting that i just have to tell you guys!

well, a few days ago, i was down to my last dollar. after withdrawing 30$ from my account, i saw that i had 6.23$ left. i was grumbling in my mind about it until i remembered that the church has been preaching a lot about 'joy of the Lord' and about paul being crazy enough to praise God in the midst of tribulation. so i decided to give that mindset a try and i started thanking God for being broke. i thanked God that i can suffer for Jesus and not be able to go to orchard to shop for 8376days. haha okay, this happened all during my break time. well, long story short, at the end of class that day, someone came up to me and gave me a small gift. i opened it and it was 100$. wooo!! i was so excited that i jumped and jumped and skipped to the bus-stop. seriously, this faith thing is so cool maaaan.

then came my parent's furniture store's landowner. he wanted to cut off our renting contract by the end of september. mom called me and she was sobbing. i told her not to worry and that sisters and i would pray about it. hahah when dad heard about it, he 'humph-ed' me. but i knew that the God who gave me the 100$ and delivered my family's relationship problems will be faithful to take care of the family! we prayed and did not allow worry to enter into our hearts and true enough, tada! my parents got to rent the shop opposite our former store instead. and because the landowner is going to open a cafe, we reckon people who come for the cafe would also be very good future customers.. :)

and today, i was walking to the bus stop after class. i was annoyed at how tired i was and started to complain to God. "Ahhhh God.... i want to take taxiiiii..." a few moments later, i heard a car horn. it was some adults from the church. they offered to give me a lift back to the church office. wahoo!

so now it is me and nicholas sow working hard on the website. sure, both of us are exhausted and annoyed with the bad feedbacks we are getting. but i guess i have learnt something from my past working experience with the missions booklet (lol).. i have learnt that it is a choice to have joy. it is a choice where you choose to get annoyed with ****** or move on with life and not chew on it. i guess if i entertained all those irritating murmurs in my heart, i would be really bitter and pissed off by now (and that wouldn't be really a good thing if you are working for God's house right?)

it took a lot of bad projects and bitter anger to get me here. i am still very guilty of complaining (and showing black face and self pity...) haha i guess it is good that we are careful with how we allow ourselves to 'feel' la. we should constantly check ourselves... i learnt that small beginnings can birth into big, messy, monster-in-the-closet contraptions.

so, it is a choice. we were all given a choice to choose. and our choice only matters when we are given the option to choose. choose Jesus! (100$! furniture shop! free car rides!)

i am tired. but somehow, quite happy. yay.
i think in the next post, i'll blog about the weird people at bible school. i think that will be funny. hahahah
